African Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
AFSOPRS: The African society of ophthalmic plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was founded in 2006 to create a scientific space which brings together African oculoplastic surgeons for discussions and exchange of experience.
The society has set the objective of promoting oculoplastics as a specialty in ophthalmology in African countries and contributing to the training of young ophthalmologists interested in oculoplastic surgery.
Since its creation, AFSORPS has organized oculoplastic surgery sessions in conjunction with the ophthalmology congress of the various national societies.
WORLD CONGRESS : Historic Meeting during WSOPRAS 2025 for our Africain Society of OCULOPLASTY : AFSOPRS has reached it’s Continental Dimension by enlarging and bringing together all the African countries . This with the support of honorable international colleagues from à Sister Societies : American ( ASOPRS ) European ( ESOPRS) and Asiopacific ( APSOPRS ).
